Your First Steps With DB2

Once the installation is done, installer will automatically lauch a utility called First Steps.

You can use this utility to create sample database. There are good chances you will get authentication error which you can resolve after reading this article.

Once sample database is created. Open DB2 Control Center (Programs -> IBM DB2 -> [DB2 Copy Name] -> General Administration Tools —> Control Center ) and browse through the sample database. If everything looks good, you are all set.
